Tip: Travel as light as possible while running runes! Don't bring any armor that weighs anything!
Perquisites:
- This technique is for both non-members (Air Running only) and members
- Any level
- Any amount of gold
- 25 Rune Essence (Air Running) to 27 Pure Essence (Law Running)
- Air Tiara (Air Running) or Law Tiara (Law Running)
There is little or no risk in Rune Running. This can be done by any level player with any amount of cash.
Law running and air running are some examples of the “instant” ways to make cash on Runescape. It’s not nearly as fast at making gold as some of the more advanced methods described in this guide, but the difference is, there is absolutely no risk in rune running at all! Rune running is possible because high level players are always trying to gain Runecrafting XP by crafting runes. However, they need people to bring them rune essence to make the runes.
Air Running - Non-members and Members
Air running is basically the same as Law Running, except that it can be done by non-members as well as members. You'll need to be on World 16 and pay visits to the Air altar. You should have 25 Rune essence in your inventory when air running (you can buy rune essence fast on world 1 or world 2). How much gold you will make from air running depends on your timing and luck.
1. Go to Falador East Bank and withdraw the 25 Rune essence.
2. Make the run south to the Air altar.
3. Once you get to the alter, look for people saying "open." Trade with them. On the trade screen, offer 25 Rune essence. The other player will trade you 25 noted essence and some gold for your effort (To make sure you're getting a fair amount of gold, check around to see how much other air runners are getting paid).
4. Head back to the Falador East Bank and repeat the process until you get enough money.
Law Running - Members Only
The world where most people will law run is World 66. The line of people will show you the path to the law altar, but the problem is that there may be too many people competing around. Again, how much gold you actually make depends partly on your timing and luck.
First, make sure that you have no armor or weapons equipped while law running. Also, wearing boots of lightness or the hunting skill capes can help speed up sprinting and decrease the time it takes to complete each run.
You will need at least 27 Pure Essence to law run. If you don't already have 27 pure essence, then buy it!
1. First, go to the Draynor bank and withdraw 27 essence from your bank. This essence must not be noted.
2. Head to Port Sarim and talk to one of the monks. They will ship you to Entrana, where the law alter is located.
3. Once you get to the alter, look for people saying "open." Trade with them. On the trade screen, offer your 27 essence. They will trade you 27 noted essence and 27 law runes for your essence!
4. Head back to the Draynor bank, and repeat the law running process as many times as you can. After you acquire a good sized stock of law runes, sell your law runes for the current market price.
If you're a non-member, air running will be your only option. However, if you're a member, experiment to see which method works the best for you.

Runescape Money Making Runecrafting Guide
Don't have enough money to buy runes? In this guide, you'll learn how to make over 181 million gp by making runes.
This runecrafting guide includes mining rune essence, which I would recommend getting a high level. If you don't have high level mining or can't buy the essence, then read my Runescape Money Making Guide .
Before you start:
Complete the Rune Mysteries quest by first talking to the Duke in the Lumbridge castle. Bring the mysterious object to Sedridor in the Wizard Tower basement. Then, take it to Aubury in Varrock rune shop. Come back to Sedridor and you've finished the quest.
Level 1-22:
Go to Varrock and get a pickaxe (highest you can use). Mine 1,120 rune essence. Use the talisman from the quest and get a tiara. Then, go to Falador east bank. Go south to the air altar. Use the talisman on it, then use the tiara on the altar inside. Then wear the air tiara and go back to the bank. Get as much essence as possible from the bank and go back to the altar. This time you'll only have to click the altar to get inside. Keep doing this until you finish off the essence. When you're finished, you can sell the air runes or keep them.
Level 22-44:
Get 10,005 essence and make air runes. By this time, you should be able to make 3 air runes per essence. This makes a profit when buying for 30-35 each. You'll be able to sell the air runes 15-20 each. That means you make 15-25 profit per essence.
Level 44-55:
If you're a member, then get 12,332 pure essence and make natures. If you're f2p (free to play), then get 22,198 essence and make it into airs. Relax, you get profit if you're buying them. You can make 5 airs per essence. That means for 30-35 each essence, you get 45-65 profit per essence. That's over 1 million gp!
Level 55-66:
36,625 pure essence if you're making natures; 65,924 essence if you're making airs. Air-makers can make 6 airs per essence now. If you're making airs, that'll make you almost 4 million gp!
Level 66-77:
108,815 pure essence if you're making natures; 195,866 essence if you're making airs. Air-makers can make 7 airs per essence now. That's 14 million gp!
Level 77-88:
323,355 pure essence if you're still making natures; 582,039 essence if you're making airs. Air-makers can make 8 airs per essence now. That's over 52 million gp!
Level 88-99:
960,962 pure essence if you're making natures; 1,729,731 essence if you're making airs. Air-makers can make 9 airs per essence now. At level 91, nature-makers can make 2 natures per pure essence. At level 99, air-makers can make 10 airs per essence. That's over 181 million gp!!!

Runescape Skill Guide:Runecrafting
To those of u who don't know how to runecraft, here's how.
Runecrafting is both a fun and useful skill, giving u the ability to make your own Runes from scratch. This skill can probably be considered a Mage's best friend, as spells can often use up many Runes, and with this ability you'll be able to craft your own! Before you can begin Runecrafting, you need to complete the Rune Mysteries Quest.
The Basics
Runecrafting is an interesting and fun skill to practice in RuneScape, as there are many different kinds of Runes to make, and several parts to making them using this skill. Often times, you will not be standing in the same spot for a long time, so the skill moves along quickly and you can get a great deal of Runes crafted in a short time.
Before you can start crafting your own Runes, you need to mine some Rune Essence from the Essence Mine. Of course, not just anyone can find this mine, and only several characters in RuneScape can teleport you to it:
* Aubury - Located in the Varrock Magic Shop.
* Wizard Sedridor - Located in the Basement of the Wizard Tower.
* Wizard Distentor - Found in the Yanille Magic Guild.
* Wizard Cromperty - Located just northeast of the Ardougne Market.
* Brimstail Gnome - Found in a cave in the northwest corner of the Tree Gnome Stronghold.
Once you're in the mine, just mine some Essence from any Rune Essence rock, and then use the nearby portal to be teleported to the character you spoke to before. You will also need a Talisman, depending on the type of Rune you wish to make. You need to use the correct Talisman with the ruins around RuneScape to be teleported to an Altar to craft your Runes. Check the Talisman and Altar Charts below for more info.
Talismans
Once you have some Rune Essence, you're going to need a Talisman so that you can enter the Altar of the Rune you wish to make. Many of them are dropped by enemies around RuneScape, and after you have the 1 you need, bring it to the ruins of that specific Rune (If you have an Air Talisman, bring it to the ruins of the Air Altar) and use it with the "Mysterious Ruins" to be teleported to the actual Altar.

Law Reward from Troll Stronghold Quest
Runecrafting Notes
* The Law Tallisman is untradeable, and the only way to obtain one is from the Troll Stronghold Quest
Runecrafting Altars
Now that you have both your Rune Essence and a Talisman for the kind of Rune you want to make, you need to find the Altar to which the Talisman belongs to. You can choose the "Locate Altar" option for the Talisman itself and be pointed in the correct direction, or follow the directions and look at the maps in the below chart.
Anyhow, just use your Talisman with the "Mysterious Ruins" to be brought to the Altar. To make the Runes, just select the "Rune-Craft Altar" option from the Altar itself to craft all of the Essence in your backpack into Runes.
Runecrafting Notes
* Zanaris - Also known as the Lost City, which you need to have completed the Lost City Quest to access. Bring your Dramen Staff that you got as a reward to the small shack in the middle of Lumbridge Swamp, go inside with it equipped and you'll be teleported to Zanaris.
Crafting Runes
When you first start Runecrafting, you will only be able to make 1 of each rune per Essence. Upon reaching a certain Runecrafting level, you'll have the ability to make multiple Runes from a single Essence, since you'll have more control and skill over crafting them. You will always receive the same amount of experience from crafting each kind of Rune, regardless of the number you make.
And u can also make lost of money!!!
