Training and Making Money
So you are working on raising your mining level and want to know how to make the most out of it? Well, that is why I am here, and I suppose that is probably why you are as well. Therefore, I will begin off simply.
Levels 1 to 20
At this level, somewhere between one and twenty mining, there really is not a whole lot to do in the way of money, so you want to be concentrating on levels. The nice thing about low levels such as these is how incredibly easy it is to raise it rapidly. If you are at level one, I suggest you do one of two things: Either go "powermining," and not worry about how many of what and all that, or mine in a way that you can raise your smithing as well.
If you wish just to get a high mining level for the time being, I suggest you start out in the Eastern Varrock Mine mine with a bronze pickaxe. It is not much, but it will suit. The location of this mine is self-explanatory. To get to it you want to go out of the east gate of Varrock and turn directly south. The mine is just west of the road. Once there, you want to mine any tin or copper rocks you can get your hands on until your inventory is full. Once that occurs, bring your load of ores up to the eastern Varrock bank and deposit them, and return to the mine to do it again. Because there are no monsters prowling the area, you do not need any specific combat level to mine here. You can also sell these ores to the store in the Champion's guild, if you can access it. This is a shorter trip than to the bank.
However, if you want to raise your Smithing a bit as well as you mining, I would suggest once again going to the South-east Varrock mine; but this time be careful to keep a strict 1:1 ratio between the tin and copper that you mine. Bank it after each load; you can smelt it later.
Levels 21 to 40
You are starting to make good progress. You can now mine, in addition to Tin and Copper, Iron and Silver. At this point, I would suggest you try getting a steel pickaxe. A steel pickaxe is not necessary to have, but will make mining faster and easier. You can also by now mine iron without too much of a problem. I now suggest that, regardless of the path you wish to take, you start mining iron by the truckload. There are two good locations for this. You can remain at the Eastern Varrock Mine mine, which I recommend, or you could also move to the Al Kharid Chasm. However, because of level 14 scorpions which reside in that mine you probably want to keep your distance.
Soon you are going to have a substantial amount of iron in your bank. It is after you have a couple hundred you need to start making your first big decisions. You can smelt your iron ores into bars, with a 50% chance of success, provided you have 15 Smithing, or you can try finding someone who will buy them from you. If you choose to sell your iron, I recommend doing it through an online forum, not in game. Look around the RuneScape Community Mining section of the market, and I am sure you will be able to find some people who are buying iron ores. If you are satisfied with the amount they are offering to pay, I would not sell for below 90gp per ore myself, sign up if you have not already done so and reply to the topic telling how many iron you have, what you sell for, and what your RuneScape name is, as applicable.
Keep mining iron, and selling it if you wish, and eventually you will have 41 mining and a good deal of money.
Levels 41 to 58
By now I presume you have 41 mining. You have the ability to mine coal and gold. If you can scrape together 32k, I highly recommend you buy a rune pickaxe from Nurmof the pickaxe merchant. As far as mining goes, it would now be wise to switch from iron to coal. At this level you will have to make do with the coal rocks in the Barbarian Mine, but it will be worth it soon enough.
If you still have some iron left in your bank, one possibility is to begin smelting steel bars and selling them for money. One steel bar requires an iron and two coal, sells on average at 600gp each. However, if you do not have any iron left and do not feel like getting more, or you do not have 30 Smithing to smelt the steel bars, you could also just mine coal and sell it for about 200gp each. I must admit, this is where mining gets the most boring thus far, so make sure you keep at it.
You could also continue powermining iron if you wish; the best place is in the Grand Tree mine, as there are about 6 iron rocks right beside each other. Simply mine one ore, drop it, then move on to the next one - this is very fast exp.
Another alternative for members, is that of mining granite at the desert quarry, located south-east of the Bandit Camp. The experience for these ores is greater than coal, and can be mined with great ease.
The mine south to Falador, has many rocks, including iron and gold. It's a good spot to powermine iron ore and bank isn't that far as well.
Levels 59 to 74
Similarly with the above bracket, you could continue powermining iron if you wish. However, this level bracket is where you can really begin to get the most out of mining. You may not realize it, but as with all guilds, you can access the Miners' Guild accessed before you ever reach 60 mining. Well, specifically, you need 59. My suggestion is to buy a number of Dwarven Stouts from the tavern in Falador. Drinking one of these will temporarily raise your mining and Smithing levels by one, enabling you to get into the guild if you drink one just before going down the ladder or clicking the door to enter the guild.
Once you have gotten into the guild, you want to start mining coal. When mining, if you find one server too crowded, you want to switch to one of the more popular worlds. On free-to-play, those would most likely be servers 1, 3, 4, and 5. It does not seem to make much sense, but everyone has the same mindset: go to the less crowded worlds. Because of that, there are less people in the guild on the more popular servers. Keep mining until you have a complete load full of coal, then head north to the ladders. Climb one, and click to the north of the circle of buildings around you. Eventually a bank will come into sight. Enter it and deposit your coal. Then get out another Dwarven stout, and head back to the mine. After a number of trips, probably about ten, you will have 60 mining and several hundred coal in your bank.
From level 60 mining, you can do whatever you want. In the Miners' Guild are 37 coal rocks and 5 Mithril rocks. You can continue to mine coal, or you can move to Mithril ores, which sell for about 350gp each. Just be aware, if you move to Mithril, you are going to spend more time mining the same amount of ores due to the much higher level required. One good strategy at this level, if you want to raise your Smithing level as well, is to mine both coal and iron and periodically smith them into steel bars, provided you have 30 smithing. Once you have a large amount of steel bars, you can do one of two things: you can smith them into steel items and further raise your Smithing level, or you can sell them to a player via Runescape Community or another forum for about 500gp per bar. If you are a member, a great way to make money is to smith cannonballs from the steel bars you make.
Levels 75 to 84
You have done it. You got as far as being able to mine Adamantite, which is no easy feat. By this level, you can mine both coal and Mithril confidently, getting coal on the first swing quite frequently. The only way I can help you at this point is to suggest, if you have a combat level above 70, to begin mining with caution at the Hobgoblin Mine, which is directly north of Edgeville in about level 32 wilderness. However, it is a long walk to the Edgeville bank, the 32 coal, 19 Mithril, and 8 Adamantite rocks of this mine are far better than the mining guild at your level. If you decide to mine here, bring a melee weapon, rune pickaxe, and a couple food items, as there are aggressive level 28 hobgoblins (regardless of your combat level) and the always-looming threat of a Player Killer.
Levels 85 to 99
You did it. You can now call yourself an official rune-miner. If you want to start making some big cash, you can start mining the Rune Rocks up in level 46 wilderness. Just be very careful, though, as people often try their luck against a couple rune ores. If you want to go for 99 mining, now, you probably want to start "power-mining"--dropping the ores as you mine. It allows for faster XP as you never have to make trips back and forth to a bank. However, as a downside, you cannot make any kind of profit mining this way.
Levels 65 to 99 ( Powermining granite )
As players have stated, you can get the fastest powermining experience in Enakhra's Quarry. You can get up to 45,000 experience per hour, if you concentrate enough. The best way to get there is to use flying carpets. Wear desert robes, a pickaxe and in your inventory have 25 ( 22 if using Humidify spell ) full waterskins and coins for a carpet ride. With the new quest, Dream Mentor you can use the spell Humidify to fill all of your waterskins.

money making guide in RS
0-10 gp start is tough. many people have more than 0 gp. but i do have some suggestions.
fisherman. lvl 16 req.
If you have a big fish net you can go to catherby and use a big net to fish oysters and caskets. this is very slow but the oysters sell or a good amount of gp same with the caskets.
Now if youre thinking there is more there isnt if you have only 16 fishing and only 10 gp you will eventually need to buy bait so that will halt youre progress.
miner 15 smith req.
sometimes when low lvls like mining to make money but mining isnt high enough to mine coal. but has at least 15 smith and mining they get stuck. well ive seen people sell iron ore up to 100 ea and iron bars 250 ea. for members this is easy with a ring of forging.
fletching no lvl req.
you can cut reg. logs and fletch them into headless arrows. you can get feathers from chickens. you can then sell them 5-15 gp ea.
runecrafting no lvl req.
this get easier the higher your lvl.
just mine ess (sell the ess or turn it into runes) in varrock then go to fally and make airs. they sell 10-20 ea

Runescape: money making 4 pkers
This is a guide I made because most people don't know where, or how, to make money while having good fun pking.
In this guide I will share with you a few of the best ways to make money by pking.
#1. rune miners
---------------
Rune miners are a source of wealth if you are lucky enough to come across one.
It may require a bit of patience but if you can find a skiller clan then your hard work may just pay off.
Have a look on their forums and see if they have any special mining events planned. most skilling clans have this sort of thing to have something to do while making money/training their levels.
get a bunch of friends to come with you and kill a few of their members.
if they have a full inventory of rune ore you will get 280k just like that.
you can make mills per hour pking rune miners.
lone rune miners are also a good way to make money, although they are much harder to find, yet much, much easier to kill .
#2. WH pkers
--------------
World Hopping pkers have been around for ages, yet Jagex's new login screen prevents you from seeing what's happening around you for a few seconds after you log in. if you see someone even 5 levels higher than you login, go for it, they'll probably be too stunned to eat, put on prayer or teleport before you kill them.
#3. dotting
------------
This is an old clan tactic that has been around forever, but it still works effectively every time.
all you need is a group of 5+ people to stand on top of each other around the dark knight's fortress/varrok wildy hill giants and wait for somebody to come. hopefully they won't notice how many people are standing there, and if you are lucky you'll be attacked.
just kill them, enough said.
#4. EGGING
-----------
This tactic is only availible to those players that received this years easter toy, the ring of easter(or something like that) that turns you into an egg when you wield it. this is very useful in the wilderness as people don't know what style of combat you are using, and many will just attack you because you look weak, or they want to see what happens because they've never seen an egg with a name before.
It really doesn't matter why they attack you, what matters is you owning their asses.

Money Guide:Woodcutting
Of course one of the simplest ways of making money is woodcutting. Although this can be extremely boring the rewards are reasonable, and it is such a simple skill!
Start off on normal trees, of course. Now before the release of Construction I would have said burn or drop the logs [F2P] or fletch into shafts [P2P] but I now advise banking the logs! Normal logs are now fairly easy to sell to people in World 1 for F2P or on the forums for P2P (sell for anywhere between 20 – 100gp ea!).
Alternatively you can turn these into planks [P2P] at the sawmill for the cost of 100gp/log and sell for up to 500gp ea (check current selling prices before doing this)! A good method for making planks without needing to walk to/from bank is the use of servants. If your Construction is 30+ a great and fast method is to cut logs or oak logs outside of the Rimmington portal, then with a full inventory head inside and tell your servant to take the logs to the sawmill (Cooks or better). Remember, each servant can only take a certain amount of logs at a time, and there is a cost involved so bring money. Servants also demand pay at regular intervals.
Whatever method you choose, cut these until level 15 WC. Personally I would cut into shafts to increase my fletching later (if you are P2P of course).
At level 15 Woodcutting start cutting oak logs and either bank for selling or make into planks for a cost of 250gp/plank. These sell for anywhere between 750gp – 1000gp per plank (check current prices on forums) so can be very good money! For F2P there are a lot of members that buy oak logs just outside of the West Varrock Bank on World 1, so look for a good price J. Cut these until 30 WC.
At level 30 Woodcutting start cutting willow logs at Draynor Village. This is right next to the bank so bank all of your logs. These sell for 30 – 40gp per log to P2P fletchers so for F2P sell in World 1 Draynor Bank or P2P on the forums. Easier sales and better prices for more logs of course.
At level 45 Woodcutting P2P’s can cut Maple logs. These are not as fast as Willows but sell for 100gp+ and can be found right next to Seer’s Bank. If you prefer faster XP stick to Willow logs.
At level 60 Woodcutting you can cut Yew logs. These are great for money, selling for between 250gp – 300gp per log! At level 60 Yew’s take a long time to cut a full load so personally I would recommend you continue cutting Willow logs, as they still make reasonable money but much faster XP. There is also the hassle of competing with the huge number of Autoer’s on every F2P world so keep this in mind if you choose to cut Yews at level 60 WC.
Personally I would continue cutting Willows until 70 WC, then move to Yew logs. P2P players could also try cutting Maples at around level 60 and see how this goes, but I used Willows until level 70.
At level 70 Woodcutting I cut Yew logs until level 75 then cut Magic Logs [P2P] below seers. Magic logs take a long time to cut at level 75 so it is advisable to continue cutting Yew logs until around level 80 WC, which will allow you to cut Magic logs a little bit faster and also make a fair bit of money too. Magic logs sell for between 900gp – 1100gp each. With the logs cut you can choose to sell, fletch [P2P] or burn them! It is up to you.
Log Cutting Chart:
Level 1 – 15 = 97 Normal Logs
Level 15 – 30 = 439 Normal Logs, 293 Oak Logs
Level 30 – 45 = 714 Willow Logs
Level 45 – 60 = 3,145 Willow Logs, 2,123 Maple Logs
Level 60 – 70 = 6,873 Willow Logs, 4,639 Maple Logs, 2,651 Yew Logs
Level 70 – 75 = 7,005 Willow Logs, 4,728 Maple Logs, 2,702 Yew Logs
Level 75 – 80 = 7,757 Maple Logs, 4,433 Yew Logs, 3,103 Magic Logs
Level 80 – 99 = 63,134 Yew Logs, 44,194 Magic Logs
Willows from 30 – 70 as advised = 7,587
Yews from 70 – 80 as advised = 7,135
Try to make this skill interesting by chatting to people at the various trees, there will usually be a number of other people there!
Mining/Smithing
One of my least favourite skills of all time, mining can be an excellent moneymaker once you hit level 85. I will keep this guide simple as I don’t know the best methods for training either of these, with my max levels in each being only 70 and 68 respectively.
Start out mining tin and copper. I personally mine from level 1 – 15 on Tin, then mine the same number of copper. Mining 150 of both Tin and Copper will get you to 21 Mining and the ability to use a mithril pick, which will make mining Iron easier than using a steel pick! Make sure to bank these ores, with a close mine to the bank being East Varrock mines. Smelting and smithing all of these ores will get you to 16 Smithing, so you will be able to smith Iron Bars.
Once you have reached 21 Mining you can mine iron! A good spot is the Rimmington mines, especially if you are a P2P with 30+ Construction. The servant can take your ores to the bank for you, and the mine is right next to the portal! This is even faster than power mining and dropping Iron ores in my opinion, and way less clicking! Iron ore is great money selling at 100gp+ per ore. Smithing these into bars is very profitable for members with a Ring of Forging which will make 140 Bars at 100% success (5 loads) otherwise the success rate is only 50%.
I would keep mining iron until level 60 Mining so you can enter the Miners Guild in Falador just below the bank. Smith only the amount of Iron needed to gain 30 Smithing then leave the rest for smithing Steel bars later (see numbers below). At level 60 Mining you can start mining coal in the guild for good money or for making steel bars, or if you would rather the XP you can keep mining Iron (power mining or banking, whichever is preferred). Personally I advise raising smithing WITH your mining rather than wasting the ores. I THINK coal becomes fairly easy to mine in the guild at around level 70, plus you have the advantage of mining the Adamantite ores in the Scorpions Lair just next to the guild through the gate along with the Mithril ores scattered through the two areas. Remember, crowded worlds have faster respawn on ores but more competition! Choose one that is right for your level.
For high-level mining do whatever you want to! I have never had mining above 70 so this is unknown to me. A fast way to raise is power mining Iron but if you would rather make money by all means mine coal and sell for 200gp+ per coal (check these prices).
It is advisable to smith everything you make at least into bars! Bars sell for a lot more than the ores would but take time to smith. It all depends on whether you like the skill ore not, but it reaps its rewards like most other skills!
Mining:
Level 1 – 21 = 287 Copper/Tin
Level 23 – 60 = 7,678 Iron
Level 60 – 70 = 13,254 Iron, 9,278 Coal
Level 70 – 85 = 72,028 Iron, 50,420 Coal
Smithing (smelt and smith):
Level 1 – 15 = 129 Bronze
Level 15 – 30 = 293 Iron (at 100% success rate – more without Ring of Forging)
Level 30 – 55 = 1600 Steel
Level 55 – 70 = 11,569 Steel, 7,954 Mithril
Level 70 – 85 = 45,836 Steel, 31,513 Mithril, 25,210 Adamantite
As you can see, mining and smithing is A LOT of work, but with Rune Ores selling at around 12k each ore, it is certainly worth the effort!
Fletching
Fletching is one of the most commonly raised member skills, as it offers a great way to make money in conjunction with High Alchemy (Level 55 Magic). This is a member’s only skill!
Simply put fletching is cutting logs into bows/arrows! To start off you should cut normal logs to make arrow shafts. If you have the money to spare I advise buying 1,000 normal logs and turning them all into shafts, then add feathers to the shafts. ONLY USE THE FOLLOWING IF YOU HAVE MONEY SPARE:
· Buy 1,000 normal logs and fletch into 15,000 Arrow shafts
· Buy 15,000 feathers (150K) and attach to shafts to make headless arrows
· Buy 1K Iron Bars and make 15,000 Arrowheads (20 smithing required)
· Attach heads to headless arrows making 15,000 Iron Arrows!
The above method costs approximately 400,000Gp (logs = 50ea, feathers = 10ea, bars = 200ea) with a 450,000Gp return selling Iron arrows at 30 ea! This also gets you to level 46 Fletching with the ability to make Willow Long Bows (plus an extra 6 levels)!
If you don’t have the money for the aforementioned guide, keep cutting arrow shafts until you reach 20 Fletching for Oak Short Bows, I personally wouldn’t bother making normal bows as it is annoying having to drop them, and arrow shafts are stackable! At level 20 start making Oak bows and continue making the best bow you can for as long as you can! Great way to raise Woodcutting at the same time, but make sure you are close to a bank so you don’t need to drop all of the bows! Another method is to cut all of the logs first then stand at the bank withdrawing logs, fletching then depositing and withdrawing more. Choose the best to suit your style of play – cutting and fletching straight away is more interesting than constant cutting and constant fletching but the choice is yours!
After fletching the 15,000 Arrow Shafts I bought 17,000 Willow Logs to get me to 70 Fletching (only 16,878 from level 40). DO NOT attach ANY strings to these, as it is not worth it! Stringing bows is VERY tedious and costs more for the same XP! Strings cost around the 150gp/string area, and strung bows give 2x the XP as unstrung bows. Therefore a strung Willow Long costs around 190gp whilst two unstrung Willow Longs costs around 80gp to make. Less than half the costs and WAY less clicking! You can sell the Unstrung Bows to the general store (not sure on price when store is maxed), drop them, sell them, keep them as a memento or give away to low levels or anyone that wants them!
At 70 Fletching you start making money from Yew Longs! Either cut or buy Yew logs (buy at 250gp from F2P or up to 300gp on F2P forums) and pick & spin or buy strings. BOTH methods make profit, it just depends on how much you want and the time you are willing to spend doing it!
It costs, to make one Yew Long (using logs = 250ea, string = 150ea) 400gp, and the selling price on mass Yew Longs (i.e. 1,000+) is 600gp ea! That’s 200gp profit per bow!
If you have 55 Magic you can use the great method of high alchemy to raise your mage level. This is a great way for members to make money whilst training mage, and is the reason for the insane Runescape economy! Strung Yew Long Bows alchemy for 768gp/bow and alchemy uses one nature rune per spell (whilst using a fire staff). You can buy the resources for a Yew Long plus the spell for 700gp (Bow = 400gp as above, Nature rune = 300gp) meaning 68gp profit per bow! This doesn’t sound like a lot but if you are alchemising 1,000 Yew Long Bows [notes] that is 68,000Gp profit, plus 65,000 Magic Experience (65xp per cast)! AMAZING!
At 85 Fletching the profit becomes even greater, with the ability to make Magic Long Bows which alchemy for 1,536gp/bow. You can buy the resources for a Magic Long plus the spell for 1,450gp (logs = 1,000gp, string = 150gp, Nature rune = 300gp) meaning 86gp profit per bow! If you alchemise 1,000 Magic Longs Bows [notes] that is 86,000Gp profit, plus 65,000 Magic Experience. AMAZING!
Another method that I used at level 75 Fletching was making Rune Arrows. These are fairly easy to sell on the forums or in World 2/18, the main PK-ing Worlds, in Edgeville. For this method I sell at 400gp/arrow.
For a start buy however many headless arrows you will need, depending on how many you want to make. Headless arrows cost around 15gp – 20gp each. Go to the Catherby range store and buy Rune Arrowheads from the store, ONLY if it is completely stocked to 100 Heads. If it is not completely stocked the prices WILL be higher! Buy all 100 arrowheads then world switch to the next world (SwiftSwitch or another trusted client comes in handy here) and continue buying arrowheads until you have 1,000 then use them with your headless arrows. Depending on your starting cash you may continue buying more, sell them now for profit or make LESS arrows than 1,000. It costs around 300gp – 330gp average per arrowhead (cant remember exact amount) after buying 100 arrowheads from the store. To maximise profits you can buy LESS from each store, meaning the price will not rise as high per arrowhead, but it will take a lot longer to make the same amount of arrows. Including world switching time, it takes me around 20 minutes to make 1,000 Rune Arrows. Now lets look at the profit for 1,000 Rune Arrows (selling 400gp each).
Resources:
· Headless arrows = 15gp each
· Rune arrowheads = 320gp each (average after 100 purchased)
Therefore it costs 335gp to make 1 rune arrow. Making 1,000 will cost around 335,000Gp which means 65,000Gp profit in 20 minutes work! AMAZING!
Bows making chart (long bows):
Level 25 – 40 = 1,176 Oak Unstrung
Level 40 – 70 = 16,878 Willow Unstrung (CHEAPEST)
Level 70 – 85 = 16,807 Yew Strung
Arrows making chart (including shaft making + attaching feathers):
Level 1 – 15 = 7,307 Shafts (488 logs), 2,411 Headless Arrows
Level 15 – 30 = 2,860 Iron
Level 30 – 45 = 12,572 Iron, 7,607 Steel
Level 45 – 60 = 55,413 Iron, 33,528 Steel, 24,036 Mithril
Level 60 – 75 = 106,080 Mithril, 85,153 Adamantite
Level 75 – 85 = 136,545 Rune
Obviously Fletching is a great money mule for members!
Fishing/Cooking
Again, a skill I haven’t been able to raise the best I wanted to, fishing (with cooking) is an excellent way to make a boatload of money! If you put in the time and effort to get to 76 Fishing and 80 Cooking, the rewards are GREAT!
Starting off, go to Draynor Village with a small net and fish shrimp there. You can either do this until level 5 and baitfish or continue till level 20 (along with anchovies at level 15) so that you can move straight to fly-fishing. Personally I fish with a net until fly fishing, but remember to keep ALL of the fish you catch! It is better to have a HIGHER cooking level than fishing level so you don’t burn as much, therefore you don’t lose as much money! The advantage of being in Draynor village is that you can cut a tree down, start a fire and cook the food as soon as you have caught the fish, then bank and fish some more.
Here’s a smart guide just for cooking for those of you with LOW COOKING levels. Also good for getting some feathers for fly fishing later:
· Go to the chicken pen near Lumbridge and kill chickens
· Collect feathers and fill inventory with raw chicken
· The farmer’s building inside the fenced area has a “cooking pot”
· Use the chicken on the pot, then “cook all” chicken
· After all have been cooked, drop the chickens and go kill more
I did this to get me to 20 cooking on my new account then bought raw trouts to get 40 cooking, and it is still 1 fishing, so as fishing rises, the cooking level will get higher and will burn less by the time I get to lobsters! This works well to maximise money you earn later AND gain fishing supplies for fly-fishing!
At level 20 F2P and P2P should move onto Barbarian Village to fly fish Trout. It is smart to bring a tinderbox and axe to cook the fish here straight after catching, and it is up to you whether you drop or bank. Personally I would drop trout as they don’t sell very easily and it is a fairly long walk to the bank (Edgeville). Continue fishing trout until level 30, when you can catch salmon with fly-fishing. You can catch a number of different fish using bait fishing but I personally find fly fishing all the way easier, without the hassle of buying more supplies like a rod and bait. At level 30 fishing you will catch a lot more trout than you will salmon, but keep cooking and dropping everything, as they are not worth selling in my opinion. Continue fly-fishing until level 60! YES, level 60.
At level 40 it is easy to say “Sweet time to catch lobsters” but it isn’t worth your time just yet! It takes a LONG time to fish lobsters at level 40, even up to level 50! Trout/salmon fishing is very fast XP, so if you’re looking to raise your fishing and cooking level a little higher before moving onto lobsters stay with fly-fishing. If you raised your cooking level using the method above for getting level 20 before fishing, and you have cooked everything you have caught since beginning fishing, on reaching level 20 fishing you should have around 61 – 62 cooking! This means you will burn a lot less lobsters! At level 60 fishing P2P can move on to Catherby and start catching lobsters, whilst F2P can go to Karamja and catch lobsters there. It is VERY hard for F2P to make money from lobsters without being dedicated, so it’s all up to you! P2P should keep fishing and cooking lobsters until they can catch sharks, of course! The fishing guild becomes available for P2P at level 68 fishing, or you can use a fishing pot to get in at level 65. Here there are a lot of places for fishing lobsters and sharks, along with a bank and a range, which makes fishing easy as well as enjoyable whilst talking to a number of other skilled fishers!
At level 76 fishing it is fairly slow fishing sharks so you can keep catching lobsters till 80 whilst raising your cooking to 80, remembering that you cannot cook the sharks until you reach 80 cooking! Once you are fishing and cooking sharks you’re on the road to riches, as these sell for up to 1,000gp each!
A great, fast way to raise your cooking is by buying raw lobsters. This is costly so don’t do it if you don’t have the money. It has the potential to make back the money spent depending on how much you payed for raw lobsters! A smart idea is to go to F2P and buying raw lobsters for 225gp – 250gp each then cook and sell for 250 ea on the forums. I always cook in Catherby but I think there are closers spots (to a bank), I am not positive though. I used this method to go from 60 – 72 cooking, and at around 72 cooking you stop burning lobsters! A good quest to complete is the Family Crest quest, which you can get cooking gauntlets from. The cooking gauntlets stop you from burning as much food, so these are a must have for sharks!
Fishing Guide:
Level 60 – 76 = 11,808 Lobsters
Level 76 – 80 = 7,219 Lobsters, 5,906 Sharks
Level 80 – 99 = 100,440 Sharks
Before level 60, if you follow my guide, you will catch a mix of salmon and trout so I cant post an exact amount for you, sorry!
Obviously cannot do a cooking guide as cooking is random unless your cooking level is great enough to avoid burning them at all. I’m not sure on the levels needed for each fish, so I’ll leave that out. Remember to cook everything you catch! You will need the levels!
Farming
Farming! YES FARMING! This is an absolutely amazing moneymaker, from using just ONE METHOD! Level 32 farming is required but I’m hoping you have the basic knowledge to get those few levels, so I wont be posting that here. Basically though, just plant some seeds with super compost and make sure you water and check regularly. But onto the awesome money side of farming!
RANARR FARMING:
At level 32 farming you have the ability to farm ranarr weeds! In my opinion this is one of the BEST ways of making money, whilst still being able to train other skills! To farm ranarr weeds you need super compost, a rake, a spade and ranarr seeds.
For the purpose of this guide I will keep the cost of ranarr seeds at 20,000gp each, and the cost of super compost as 1,000gp each. The selling price of ranarr weeds will be 6,500gp each.
Lets say we bought 100 Ranarr seeds = 2,000,000gp
And we bought 100 Super compost = 100,000gp
Therefore total cost = 2,100,000gp
Now, each ranarr seed, when using super compost, yields an average of 7 ranarr weeds per seed, so from planting 100 seeds we will yield approximately 700 ranarr weeds!
Selling these ranarr weeds at 6,500gp each will get you 4,550,000gp!
Profit = Revenue - Cost
Therefore profit = 4,550,000gp – 2,100,000gp = 2,450,000gp!
You can farm 100 ranarr seeds in a matter of a few days! On my account I got from level 1 – 32 farming in just over a day, and farmed 100 ranarr seeds in 3 days. This is amazing profit and the best part is you don’t even have to be there! The beauty of farming herbs is that you rake the patch, super compost it and plant the seed, then let it sit there for 75 minutes (including offline time) without the need to water it! This means whilst the herbs are growing you can go fish, woodcut, fletch or whatever you desire!
I personally use the Falador South/Draynor, Catherby and Ardougne patches for growing herbs, and fish at the fishing guild whilst waiting for the herbs to grow. It is advisable to check up on your herbs to make sure they do not become diseased, which can easily be cured by using plant cure purchasable from any farming NPC near the patches! Hopefully this proves to you that this is NOT a worthless skill!
Runecrafting
If you’re looking for the best way to make a lot of money then this skill is for you! I will show you three ways to raise your runecrafting, all with totally different styles and risks involved. Remember rune mysteries must be completed to runecraft!
METHOD 1 – Long and boring, but more profit
Method one is to buy all of your rune essence and craft it yourself, crafting the best rune you can when you can! This means running back and forth between the bank and the altar thousands of times rising it bit by bit! Sounds slow and boring? It is! But isn’t this the case with most skills when you are low levelled?
Personally I started on air runes and continued doing air runes until level 44! Below I will describe a method that made this MUCH easier for me to raise it quickly. Air runes are reasonably easy to sell compared with earth runes, fire runes and water runes as they are used in a large variety of spells.
At level 44 Runecrafting you can then make nature runes! I chose to skip making Chaos runes due to the danger of crafting them in the wilderness, so I will leave that out. You have two choices here defined in this method. Take all of your pure essence [noted] and go to the Karamja Jungle where the Nature Altar is, also taking with you a Nature talisman/tiara and some gold. You will then need to go to the general store (north-west of altar) and sell a “full load” (defined by the space in your inventory) of essence to the general store and buy it back in item form. This will cost a small amount to you, and is dangerous, as many people will try to steal the essence away from you, buying it before you get to! Boots of lightness come in handy as you must run to the general store and back to the nature altar a HUGE number of times! This is the longest and most boring way of runecrafting nature runes.
Once you achieve level 54 runecrafting you can craft law runes, well done! The altar is on Entrana and the talisman is a reward from the Troll Stronghold quest. You cannot take any armour or weapons to Entrana so keep this in mind before trying to go there from Port Sarim. Run back and forth from the Draynor bank to the Law Altar, and I’m sure that anyone who has ran for “Fast Free Laws on World 66 + 99” would know this route very well!
METHOD 2 – Way faster, costs more/less profitable
In method two you employ runners to work for you! This is not advisable unless your runecrafting is 33+ as that is when it starts to “break even” and you stop losing money for employing runners.
AIRS: Air runners are a potentially large business, especially if you are using a F2P world. You can offer two things: Cash payment or Air rune payment. Remember that the more runners who come to work for you, the faster you will gain XP, but the less profit you will make. For rich players the XP is usually the more desired of the two, and methods can be developed to retain some profit! Before choosing to use runners, search the Runescape forums for “Air Companies” that you may be eligible to join. A good idea is to offer 78 Air Runes per trip, which means that at level 33 Runecrafting you start making a decent amount of profit at a very fast rate!
NATURES: There are a number of nature crafting companies within the Runescape forums, or you can just start your own private company offering however much pay you want! Usual prices are between 9,000gp – 11,000gp per run. Obviously with high prices like these it is difficult to make a profit, so a lot of people choose to pay in Nature runes to runners, which may sometimes prove a better payment.
LAWS: There are a couple of very large law companies that offer “Laws for Ess” where crafters bring the original 26 essence [unnoted] and receive 26 law runes + 26 essence [noted]. Obviously this means you will be making no profit (it is actually a loss!) as a crafter but the XP is extremely fast, Worlds 66 + 99 being full at most times due to the large number of runners for the huge company operating there. Other companies also exist on a “No Return” basis where runners supply their own ess, which means you work at no profit but gain free XP!
As you can see, Method 2 does not bring a lot of money, and is mainly used as a way to gain XP quickly so that you can get to law runes or double natures!
METHOD 3 – Extremely fast, very risky but reaps rewards
Method 3 is of course crafting in the abyss. To do this you need to do the Mage of Zamarok mini-quest by talking to him around level 7 Wilderness above Edgeville. There are plenty of guides for doing that quest on fan sites so I’m not going into it here! Once the quest has been completed you can start crafting with the abyss! Remember to use as many pouches as you can at your level! It adds up, trust me!
The abyss is located in Level 7 Wilderness above Edgeville by choosing “Teleport” on the Mage of Zamarok.
To use the abyss I advise the following:
· Glory Amulet (as well as a 1 click teleport for those with safety concerns)
· Woodcutting Axe – any kind
· Low levels take cheap, light armour set like Green Dragonhide.
The armour is good as the abyss is a multi combat zone and you will get attacked by a swarm of abyssal monsters! There are a number of high-levelled monsters too, with the teleport spot being random, so watch out! You can get to the centre of the abyss by either going through the passage at the far north, or using one of the shortcuts around the circle. There is a number of each shortcut type, which requires different skills. By using a Woodcutting Axe you can chop through the tentacles, and then use thieving and agility to get through their respective shortcuts. Decent levels are required in these skills. Once inside the inner circle look for the portal with the picture of the rune you are trying to craft flashing inside the black area. You will know what I mean when you get there! Simply click on this portal to be transported there without the need of a tiara or talisman! Use the essence with the altar; empty the pouches then use the essence with the altar again. Un-equip your Glory Amulet and teleport to Edgeville, bank the runes and withdraw essence (filling pouches) then start the process again! This is the fastest way to craft runes, and also only involves the cost of rune essence (plus one time glory purchase)! It is advisable, if you have the money, to buy 10+ glory amulets so you only need to go charge them every 40 trips, which is just over 1,000 nature runes without pouches.
Please keep in mind that the abyss skulls you and drops prayer to 0, therefore when you are in the Wilderness you can be PK-ed by the dirty, filthy people that kill for the want of one glory amulet! L Just keep this in mind when selecting a world to craft on, as less crowded worlds is generally safer to craft on. If you see a team of PK-ers 7-10 levels lower or higher than you, DON’T use this world. It is too risky! Change worlds without a second thought; don’t try to outsmart them by being sneaky, as you will die a number of times.
Runecrafting Guide:
Level 1 – 44 = 11,130 Essence (Air)
Level 44 – 54 = 19,045 Essence (Air), 10,581 Essence (Nature)
Level 54 – 91 = 639,107 Essence (Nature), 605,470 Essence (Law)
As you can see, Runecrafting takes a lot of time and patience, but the money you gain is amazing. At current prices of around 90gp/pure essence, Runecrafters still make 210gp profit PER essence! At level 91 Runecrafting, crafters make 510gp profit PER essence! WOW! This is another skill that doesn’t require a high level to make high levels of money (44 Runecrafting ISN’T a high level people)!
Merchanting
So here it is, the core topic of most people’s guides but I will only cover it slightly! This is because the ‘secrets’ of merchanting aren’t really secrets, as everyone already knows them!
Firstly, merchanting is simply buying something cheap and selling it for more. This does not always mean on mass scale (like 100K willow logs) and is often LESS dangerous when doing one or two items such as a Whip, or a Barrows set.
For the following items I advise buying them for around 50,000gp – 100,000gp less than the normal market price (you need to check current price on forums) and selling for either the same price or slightly higher, but not to high that you drive away potential customers.
· Whips
· Barrows Sets
· Rare items – Santa Hats, Halloween Masks etc
Also remember that investing in “rares” for the future will gain you a HUGE amount of profit. Just look at how much prices have jumped in the last few months!
Other good items for merchanting on mass scales are Yew logs, Pure Essence (hard), Dragon/Cow hides, Dragon bones and Super Sets or Potion Potions.
Super Sets and Potion Potions:
These are a great way of making profit as many people buy these sets for PK-ing or fighting monsters such as Barrows. Buying Prayer (3) potions is easier to merchant than Prayer (4) potions.
Prayer potion (3)’s can be bought on member worlds for 6,500gp each, then sold on the forums at 7,000gp each. This is an easy profit of 500gp per unit.
Super set merchanting involves buying the three potions, Attack Strength and Defence, separately, then selling them as a set for 9,000gp – 10,000gp per set. The idea is to buy the potions separately at a total cost of less than 9,000gp per set. Here is a price guide for buying the potions for super sets (remember all potions are three dose).
· Super Attack Potion – 1,000gp each
· Super Defence Potion – 3,000gp each
· Super Strength Potion – 2,000gp each
I am unsure on current prices (check them on forums), but try these for a start in crowded places like World 2 Falador or Seers. Once you have a decent number of each (try to keep each amount even) go to the forums and post “Selling Super Sets – X Amount Each”, replacing the ‘X’ with however much you are charging per set!
GOLDEN RULES OF MERCHANTING
· Never EVER use up all of your money buying items to merchant, as the item may become hard to sell and you are stuck with no back up money if you desperately need it.
· Watch for scammers! If an offer seems too good to be true, it probably is!
· Check the forum rises/drops in prices regularly; you don’t want to be paying more for items than they are worth or offering too little!
· If you want fast clearance but a little less profit I advise you keep your prices competitive and dominate the market! For example when Construction came out I merchanted Oak Logs, and when everyone was selling for 90gp – 100gp a log, I was selling at 80gp each. I bought and sold over 200,000 oak logs in less than two hours, still making 30gp profit per log!
· NEVER lower your prices to the BUYERS price. Always keep your prices where you want them (within reason of course) and buyers will eventually come around, even if it takes a little longer. Be firm, but not rude. You are a business man so present this image well for fast transactions!
That’s about all I am going to write for merchanting. It is becoming an increasingly hard method to use due to the huge number of people doing it. A good time to merchant is when there are a moderate number of people online. Too many equals more competition, too little equals no buyers!
Runescape Money Guide: Mercy's Guide to million's
This is a guide to tell the runescape community how i make my millions. First of all you might remember the Marrionette dolls, the man said if you lost yours, you could come back and get another.
The general store in Fallador, is the closest one. They buy them for 1gp ea!! So sell the childs play thing and you can get another.
*1Gp to 10Gp*
Making a trip will be 2 mins(while running) and 3 mins walking! So thats 1gp every 2-3 minutes! WOW! Repeat 10 times and you'll have 10Gp.
*10gp to 100gp*
Next is a tricky part, you have to...REPEAT! the last step, ninty more times you should be well on your way by now!
2 minutes a trip, so thats 200minutes which is only 3hours and 30 minutes(if you run the whole time)
*100gp to 1000gp*
Next your going to want to try a different world, the general store will no longer accept dumb dolls! So world hop, now is the hard part, you got to do the same thing all over again, nine Hundred times! Remember 2 minutes per trip so...2x900=30hours! WOW 30hours and 1K GP!!!!!
*1000gp to 100,000Gp*
Repeat AGAIN! 99,000 more times! Lets do the math again....wow 3000 hours!
*NOW FOR THE FINAL STEP!* 100k gp to 100Million gp!
This is going to take a pretty dedicated player, but in the end its all worth it!! You should be switching worlds, you will have done about 3,369 world hops, now remember 2 mins per trip, so just keep your mind clear and Concentrate!!
100,000,000x2=200,000,000minutes/ 6 0=3,333,333 hours!/24=138,888 days!! WOW!! 380years!!

III. Preperations
First of all, the easiest way to start out is to either have a friend smith you a mith 2h, or to get 5k.
If you get a mith 2h, go to a world with a bunch of people in Varrok square. Dont go to world 1 or any other world that is packed. Go to a world that is about 2/3-3/4 full. Go to to the square and just type "selling mith 2h". People always want to buy them cause they go pking and lose them. Always wait to get at least 3 offers. Then choose the highest one, or if they aren't high enough, try to get a price you want. 8-10k is a good price(but you may only get 6-7k witch is good too). Then later after the person leave, buy a m2h for about 2k less than what you sold it for.
That is about the easiest way to start out.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IV. Getting Better
Now, after you have gotten about 30k with the mith 2h's, go and buy 2 dimond ammies(10k each), and 2 ruby ammies(5k each). now go to the same place as where you sold the mith 2h's. BE strick on the Dimond ammies and sell them 12k each, but if offered better, take it. For the Ruby ones, it doesn't matter as much and can be sold at any price over 5.5k. now keep buying and selling these untill you have about 50k.
Now you can get more money since you have experence and money. Buying and selling rune 2h's!
Rune 2h's are in high demand, and cheep ! First with your 50k, buy a r2h for 40k (if they sell less/more than that tell me someone, the rs economy is horrible these days....). now, sell it for 45k, this is very easy to do since people are always buying and selling them. This is most easily done on world 1. in about an hour you can get 100k if you work hard enough. For further Items to buy/sell, keep reading.

Runescape: Merchanting Tip, steel barz
Ok, well to start off steel bars are 550 each when you sell them. Coal is about 150 each. Iron is 50 each. So, if you buy say 1k coal for 150k, and 500 iron for 25k, then you just spent 175k. Then, smelt those ores into 500 steel bars. Then go and sell them for 550 each. So 500 steel bars at 550 each is 275. And there you have it, a nice 125k profit. Also it gives you a bit of smithing exp.

Unbeleivably Massive Ways To Make RS Money
First off, there are many ways of making money on runescape, but all of these take patience and time. For most occasions, depending on which skill (you may not be using a skill) to use money, the higher the level of the skill, the more money you will profit from it. There are also other ways to make money, (misc.) that do may not require any skill levels. Yet, most of these take time.

Fletching -
Fletching is a very profitable skill in runescape, but primarily at the higher levels.
To start off fletching, you can only make shafts which sell roughly 9-20 each depending on quantity. Each time you cut a log (with a knife) you will receive 15 arrow shafts in return, you can either sell these, make headless arrows with them and sell, or lastly make complete arrows to sell. You cut a full inventory of logs roughly 1-3 minutes, so making 420 shafts every 2 minutes(roughly), so that would be 12.6k shafts an hour, but would be more like 11k shafts with the decrease of the bank run. This is actually a decent way of making money, its just not many people have thought of it. Making 70-100k an hour (merchanting, time included). Attaching feathers to these would make them sell for 5-15gp more, it would be same profit basically, unless you went and collected the feathers. Lastly, you could attach arrow heads to these. To get a full inventory of copper\tin(13 of each), you would take about 5 minutes of mining/running to bank. This means that, with an additional 1-2 minutes of running to smelt\smith, that you would get 195 bronze arrow tips. attach these to the feathered shafts, so an estimate of 8 minutes per every 195 bronze arrows complete. These will sell 5-20 each, so about 8k per 8 minutes (minus time to get arrows and feathers). At the higher level, you will start to be able to make yew long bows (level 70 to make). Cutting yews, you get approx. 200-400 per hour. Also, you could gather strings, getting about 500-750 an hour, or just buy them 90-100 each, but never go higher than 100. combining this, you get 400 yews an hour, and say you buy(most popular choice) 5k strings for 500k. This means after about 12 hours you will have 5k yews. After fletching and stringing all of these, it will take about 3-4 hours if VERY focused. And of course after alching, it will have taken another 1-2 hours depending on focusness. So a total of 17 hours, earning ~~3.5 mil. (Saying you bought the nats 350 each, with a 15 minute decrease of merchant time. This means a net profit of ~~1.7 mil plus good mage and fletching, and woodcutting experience. You can use this formula to find out how many and how much money for hour you will get with yew long bows. For mage logs, at any level you chop a full load 13-17 minutes. We will approximate this to 15. Then, saying you get 1k mage logs, this will use up about 525 minutes. Equaling 8.75 hours spent on chopping 1k magic logs. After that, you can buy 1k strings, for 100k. (5 minutes merchanting time spent). After this is done, to string and cut the logs, it would take about 1 and a half hours. In total, that’s 10.3 hours spent. Then to buy the nats 350 each(20 minute merchant time), then you high alch for 1,536gp per magic long bow. Alching them will take 3-4 seconds per alch, so taking 66 minutes, (1 hour and 6 minutes). After 11.7 hours, you have made 1.2 million, so about 102,564gp an hour.
Woodcutting –
First of all, to start chopping a tree, you are required to have an axe.
The first trees: normal trees, money rate: poor
Getting full loads in 3 minutes, you can get 560 normal logs an hour. If you find a nice buyer for 50 each, you can sell for ~25k.
Oak trees:
Money rate: very poor
Chopping a full load of oaks south of seers bank, with 60 woodcut and rune hatchet, would take about 1-2 minutes. Meaning 840 oaks an hour. The one problem is, nobody buys oaks, so might as well burn or fletch them.
Willow trees:
Money rate: Ok
Saying you have 70 woodcutting, you can chop willow full loads, in roughly 1-3 minutes. Meaning about 840 an hour, depending on focus ness. In free worlds, these normally sell 20 each, for the point of cost, I would just burn them or save them to fletch for members.
Then, if you are members, you could probably find a 50 each buyer, so that means 42k an hour.
Maple trees:
Money rate: Ok
Most people over rate maple trees, thinking that the price of log will get good profit, but you don’t chop these near as fast as willows. At a woodcut level of 90, I can chop about a load in 2 minutes tops. So lets say 4 minutes a load(for a lvl 60 cutter). This means around 420 logs an hour, which is a mere 42k
Yew logs:
Money rate: good
Chopping yew logs at level 90 cutting, I can get loads in around 3 minutes, normally 5 minutes. With this, you can get about 336 logs per hour, and if you get a buyer 300 each, that’s 108k per hour.
Magic logs: Very good
These can be gathered, at 15 minutes per 28 logs, this equals up to 112 logs an hour, and if you get a buyer 1k each, that’s a steady 112k an hour.
The best spots to chop:
Normal logs:
Lumbridge swamp, or the area between Seers village and Catherby.
Oak logs:
The 2 oak trees directly south of Seers bank. After you cut one down, the other one goes up, and I’m pretty sure these respawn quicker than normal trees.
Willow logs:
Directly west of Catherby, or south of draynor bank.
Maple logs:
Outside the bank of seers.
Yew logs:
South of the flax fields in seers, seers cemetery, behind castle in varrock, and south of falador.
Mage logs:
South-west of catherby, and in the courtyard in the Sorcerer’s Tower.
1.3 Crafting
Crafting is a “low down” skill at earlier, levels, and like all skills, the big bucks come at the higher levels. To start off you need cow hides; most leveling crafters buy these, so selling to them is good.
NOTE* since crafting is much more elaborate on members, sell cow hides only on member servers.
You can sell cow hides on free worlds 10-50 each, and 200-400 each on members. Killing a cow approx. every 12 seconds, you can get a full load(28) you get a full load in 420 seconds(7 minutes). This means that you can get 238 cow hides in an hour, selling 200 each = 47.6k
Gems:
Uncut sapphire normally go around 200-500gp each cut, and around 300-750 each cut, depending on quantity the price can rise or decrease. So obviously, there is no point buying uncut then cutting and selling, unless craving for crafting experience.
Also note that gold bars are 100-200 each (ore or bar), and this is a basic ingredient for making jewelry. So saying you bought 1 sapphire 400gp, and the gold bar for 200gp, and any type of mold for 5gp. This totals in 605gp. Next, taking about 20 seconds (saying you are at fallador eastern bank). Then, you choose if you want a ring, necklace, or amulet. After you make an amulet, it can be enchanted (using a cosmic rune), to make a magic amulet. The only problems with these are that nobody usually buys, and if they do it would be for 1 k-1.5k each. If you want profit, the best bet is to sell these to the story for around 600gp (??). This ends up in 0 profits, and actually a “loss” because you could have earned more in that time doing something else. For necklaces, these can be enchanted into games necklaces (8 charges), but yet this will result in the same problem above, nobody wanting to buy. But if you do manage to find a buyer, they usually sell 1-2k each. If sold to the store, it’s about the same as an amulet but a tad bit less. Rings, these are enchanted into rings of recoil, which are the best profit maker of sapphires. After making rings of recoils, you will sell them. These sell for 3k-6k each, or higher and lower depending on quantity. This is the best profit gainer of sapphires, costing about 7k and about 10 seconds to make a full one(walk time not included), you can earn 6.3k with selling time of only about 5 minutes or less.
Emeralds, the second gem up from sapphires, and then 2nd lowest on the rank of rarity or scarcity, obviously ending up in 2nd lowest in price.
Emeralds can be bought 600-1.5k uncut, and 400-1k cut. Just like any gem, they can be made into 3 different types of jewelry. Most of these are unpopular and have low demand, except sometimes the ring of dueling (8) can be sold for profitable prices.
Emerald necklaces and amulets (defense), should either just be kept or sold to the general store for around 700-900gp. The ring of duelings however, can be sold from prices ranging from 500-5k at times. (Use the formula above to find an estimate of the profit per hour). (5 min merchant time, can vary as usual).
Rubies can be bought 800-2k uncut, 600-1.75k cut. Unlike the emerald or sapphire, this is more profitable with amulets (strength). The strength amulet is sold for 2-10k, as is very profitable. The necklace for about 800gp to the store, and the ring (forging), for 2-5k. (Use the formula above for per hour rate.) (5-10 minute merchant time can vary though).
Diamonds can be bought 1k-4k uncut, 1k-4k cut. These can be made into diamond amulets (power), rings of life, and diamond necklaces.
The most profitable is either the amulets or rings. Rings would be more profitable, since low merchant time unlike the amulet. Rings sell for 5-10k, amulet sells for 5-15k. Amulet has an estimated 10-20 minute merchant time, ring 1-5 minute time. So obviously, choose the rings. (Also estimate per hour using the formula above stated in the sapphire section).
Dragon stone, being the most expensive, at 100k uncut or cut.
The dragon stone is tricky, because in most causes it creates no profit.
It can be made into a ring of wealth, d-necklace, and a glory ammy, which can be charged to get (4).
The ring of wealth is very hard to sell, but sells for 95-105k, should be rather used for its own owner.
The glory ammy sells for 100k, but with charges can go up to 120k.
The merchant time can be very high or very low, often to risky to take the chance to merchant these. Might as well use the glory or wealth for your own cause.
Dragonhides!
Green dragon:
These can be gathered at many different points in the wilderness, so yes there is a risk on getting these. Killing 1 dragon a minute, you can get 60 hides in an hour. These hides range from 1-2k in value. So if you sold these you are getting around 60-100k an hour with running/teleporting time. Or the other option, to craft these. The full set requires 63 crafting, so make sure you have that first. Then you should rather make full sets than sell separately (making all one item then trying to sell). If you don’t want to run around selling these for a while, lower the price to 10k. This way you’re increasing the hides from ~1.5k to 3.3k per hide with the corresponding time merchanted.
Blue dragon:
These can be gathered at the Hero guild, yannile dungeon, and taverly dungeon.
These can be killed at 1 per minute or less or more. The hides they drop are 1.6-3k each, most normally 2k. This can rate up to 96-160k an hour, very profitable.
For the crafter, 71 crafting is a necessity. These sets sell 15-20k each, making the hides value rise from 2k – 5-6k. Yet this is very hard to sell, and might as well just sell the hides.
Red dragon:
These can be gathered in Karamja Dungeon, or lvl 40ish wildy in the red lava maze.
These sell 3k-4k per, also note these are rather rare. Full sets sell 50-80k, so it can be worth it. You kill about 1 per 2 min, equaling in 30 an hour. So 90k-110k if you sell the hide.
Or for the crafter you can make full sets at level 77. This would rise the dragon hides worth from 3.5k – 20-30k. You would think this is good money but it is difficult to sell.
Black Dragon:
These can be killed at lvl 46 wildy (kbd, not sure if they drop though), and Taverly Dungeon. You kill about 2 per minute, obviously 30 per hour. These also sell 2-4k each.
So this would be 60-100k an hour, with a long walking distance. Crafting these require level 84 crafting. Making full sets sell for 20-30k a set, so not really a profit. This would mean the 2-4k – 6-10k per. These are hard to sell though, so I would stay off these, and stick to blue or green.
1.4 Monster Killing
Monster killing is a process of killing the monster, then getting good drops to sell/alch for money.
Monsters with good drops for cash – Fire giants, Black Demons, greater demons, King Black Dragon, Kalphite guards/queen, Gargoyles, Nechaeryls, Abyssal Demons, Green, Blue, and Black dragons, Bronze, iron, and steel dragons, Chaos Druids, and Hellhounds.
Good drops are – Dragon bones, hides, dragon armor, dragon weapons, herbs, Granite Maul, rune boots, abyssal whip, rune armor, rune weapons, Level 3 clues, etc..
Various Places to find these are..
Fire giants – Waterfall cave, and Karamja Dungeon, and wildy.
Black Demons – Taverly Dungeon, and Edgeville Dungeon.
Greater Demons – Demonic Ruins, Karamja Dungeon, and Monk’s Island.
Kbd – East of the Lava Maze.
Kalphite guards\queen - kalphite dungeon, desert.
Gargoyles, Nechareyls, Abyssal Demons – Slayer castle north of Canafis
Green dragons – Wildy in level 14-39.
Blue Dragons – Taverly Dungeon, Watch tower dungeon(yannile), and Hero’s Guild.
Black Dragons – Taverly Dungeon.
Bronze, Iron and steel dragons – Karmaja dungeon.
Chaos Druids – Edgeville dungeon.
Hellhounds – East ardy dungeon, Taverly Dungeon, and wildy.
Specific “best” Drops
Fire Giants – Dragon Med Helm
Black Demon –
Greator Demon – Level 3 clue, Rune chain
Kbd – Dragon Med Helm
Kalphite Queen – Dragon Chain
Kalphite Guards – Dragon Spear
Gargoyles – Granite Maul
Nechraeyls – Granite Maul/Rune Boots
Abyssal Demons – Abyssal Whip.
Green Dragons – Level 3 Clue
Blue Dragons – Level 3 clue
Black Dragons – Level 3 clue
Bronze, Iron, Steel Dragons – Dragon Platelegs/Dragon Plate Skirt.
Chaos Druids – Unidentified Herbs
Hellhounds – Level 3 clues.
There is no rate per hour on these, because the drops are completely random..
1.5 Merchanting
All merchants really do is buy low sell high. The best servers for this are 1, 29, 2, and 26.
Also the best areas are, Fallador East for 2, and 26, and Varrok West for 1 and 29.
You can also use forums to advertise what you are selling.
Simple things to merchant –
BUY SELL
Rune scimmis – 25k 35k
Full rune - 185k 200k+
Feathers 5 10
Iron 50 100
Coal 100 150
There of course are many others, but these are some of the most popular things to merchant.
Now for dragon armor, this will need a little more money to start with. Also all of these numbers represents money in millions.
BUY SELL
Dragon Med 2-2.1 2.2-2.5
Dragon Legs/Skirt 2.9-3.1 3.2-3.5
Dragon Sq. Left 5.7-5.8 6-6.2
Dragon Square(full) 6.5-6.6 6.8-7
Dragon Chainbody 22-25 26-30
Now For rares, You will need even more cash to start out with.
BUY SELL
Santa Hats 400-450k 500-600k
Green Masks 700-900k 1-1.2
Blue Masks 800-1.3 1.4-1.8
Red Masks 1.8-2 2.1-2.5
Purple Phats 7-8 8.1-8.5
Yellow Phats 9-9.5 10-10.5
Green Phats 11-11.5 12-12.5
Red Phats 13-13.5 14-15
White Phats 16-16.4 17
Blue Phats 18-18.3 19
So basically when you get something, anything, try to sell it high, rather than low. Also when you see a good deal, do it and resell for higher and profit.
1.6 Heblore –
In herblore, it is more like just merchanting really.
There are 15 different herbs, with different prices and potion results.
There are also roughly 12 second ingreidants.
Each of these have different herblore requirements to make potions..
The most popular potions are(with prices)
Prayer pots(4) – 2-5k per
Super Attack Pots (4) – 1-3k per]
Super Strength Pots (4) 2-5k per
Super Defense Pots (4) – 2-5k per
All of these together are aka “super sets”
Anti-fire Pots (4) – 3-8k per
Range Pots (4) – 5-10k per
Obviously just buy low and sell high, or start stock low build up and sell for higher since larger sell quantity.
Gathering “Uni” (short for Unidentified Herbs), can sell for 1-2k each, for nice profit gain per hour.
The best place to get these is by killing chaos druids(level 13, 19health I think), in level 2-4 Edgeville Dungeon.
By killing 1 of these every 20 seconds, you can get 3k a minute. Multiply that by 60 you have 180k per hour. Then descrease the run time, to get an estimated 150k an hour.
Though note, some may only buy rannar and above for ex.
This means that the money rate will go down since a lot of these “uni” herbs you get tend to be guams, marrentills, and tarromin.
1.8 Fishing/cooking
Fishing and cooking are grouped together, since if you sell raw ones, they are going to cook them!
At levels 1-20, your best bet is shrimp to level 20.
The best place to do this is at al-kharid, right by the bank..just drop the shrimp or deposit for cooking xp needed to cook better foods that give better money.
After you hit level 20, you can cook trout.
The best place to do this, is south of edgeville bank, on the east side of barbarian village.
There are 2 fishing spots, so no problem with the spots disappearing since you can just merge to the other spot.
You will get approximately 26 fish(trout), (not 28 since you have fly rod and feathers with you).
These sell 20-40 each raw, 20-30 each cooked.
Getting approximately 1 trout every 8 seconds(varies depending on fishing level of course, this is on an average of about 55).
This will get you 3.4 minute loads. This equals about 17.6 loads an hour.
This equals up to 467.6 trout an hour, rounding to 450 with load running time.
Selling at 30 each raw, equals 13k an hour.
If you cook this, you can cook about 1 per 4 seconds.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Method One
I'm sure you've seen people buying "unids" before? Well they're unidentified herbs. Obtain theese from killing chaos druids in taverly dungeon... They drop 1-2 Herbs at a time and they sell for 1k each! Plus because they're level 13 you could get 100s an hour!!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Method Two
Now you must of heard of flax right... I can describe it in one word YAWN! It takes about 2 hours to pick 1000? Well since so you already have over 100k from the first method buy 1k flax for 100k then spin it into bowstrings and sell them 180gp each! It takes around 25 minutes to spin 1k flax! Do this till you have double your money and prepare to get your first few MILLS... Without doing a thing!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Method Three!
Ok, you have around 300k-500k (Well done ). But dont stop there... prepare to turn thats 400k into 1600k (1.6MILLION COINS)
Find a low level member, be nice to him them offer him a job. Tell him collecting snape grass, take him down to the crafting guild (just behind it) and tell him to pick the snape grass of the floor and bank it and when he has 1000 you will give him 100k. The low level will be over the moon and he will think you are GOD! But wait... Why pay some Newb 100k for 1000 pieces of snape grass? Well its simple! That snape grass sell for 400gp each! So you get 4k snape and sell for 400gp each = 1.6 MIL!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Method Four!
So you still have about 1 Million gp after buying your dream weapons and armour or whatever . Time to make some serious cash!
This is what you do... Buy all half keys 20k each (make sure you buy about 50 teeth halfs and about 50 loop half) and if someone saying "N0013 1t5 2Sk J0o Fr00b" or sumet stupid like that ignore them as they will come running back to you in around 2 minutes. Now connect both the half keys together to make a crystal key. And go to the chest in taverly and use the key on the chest! You get an uncut d stone and mostly rune bars, ores or other gems. So lets see... You started with 1mil, got 50 d stones and sell thoose for 65k each = 3.25Mil!! plus you still got the rune bars and stuff... They're 14k each rune bars! Do this again with your 3m, 150 half keys or 75 crystal keys, 75 d stones = 4.875M!! You are now really rich!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Method Five
Remember method one? gathering unids? You may of thought why do people buy unids for 1,000 gold pieces each!?! Well i am about to tell you. You need 25 herblore for this, please find a herblore guide before asking me anything . Follow the steps bellow when your 25 herblore.
1: get around 500k+ (the more the better)
2: Buy unids 1k each and make sure they're a good amount of stacks (like 7+).
3: Identify one from each pile until you come across a rannar.
4: identify all the rannars all leave the rest as unids.
5: Sell the rannars 7K each
6: you can either sell the ones you cant identify for 2k each as above rannar herbs or sell the lot for 1.2k each on the forums!
I made over 23MILLION GP doing this in around 10 days, 2.3Mil a day... Not bad work! Congratulations you are now rich enough to buy rare items like santa hats!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Method Six!
So now you must be pretty darn rich . You can do whatever you want with your cash right? But hold on... Why stop there? I mean sure, you can buy a SANTA HAT but why not move onto Party hats? Read this.
Herblore is a great way to make money, very hard to level though... remember when you sold your unids before for 2k each that were over rannar? Well you must of thought why do people buy them... and how do they know if they are above rannar or not. Well they get 1 of every hard above rannar and fill there invent with say... cabbage or some over junk and if you try to sell them a herb under rannar it will say you have no space as the herb can't fit into any of the piles... This is a win/win bet buying unids above rannars and you can either get a friend to identify them for you or yourself. You will find every herb above rannar is over 2K, you can't lose, this is how people make billions!
Popular Scamms
So you have millions of gp, even billions. You may want to look after that money though. You are now rich, you are a TARGET to hackers and the first thing i want to tell you all about it account saftey.

2 = Is your pass abc123? Change it! Something like xyzacb39153 (make sure you pass is as long as possible)
3 = Some wierd guy asking you questions like who's your favourit band? ignore him if theese questions sound like your recovery questions!
4 = All advice from the stronghold of security should be taken SERIOUSLY!
So Your account MUST be safe (sorry to frighten you) a few other things you should keep in mind are listed here...
~ Free armour trimming doesn't exist!
~ In the game "4" and "k" look the same so 1000k (1M) may look like 10004 (10k)
~ Downloading runescape stuff, anything from guides to even auto-ers (please don't use them) contain keyloggers that can figure out your pass! Stay aware!
~ Free cash and 99 skills if you give me your account details is a very bad scamm!

~ This New comer wants some cash of me... Don't give him money just tell him about my guide!
~ Some guy claims he will stake 200Mil for my 10M. Don't stake your money strait away, look up his/her stats first and look out for rule changes.

Chapter 1: Getting Started
In this chapter you will learn how to make up to 100k
There are alot of different ways to make cash in rs. In this chapter i will start out with some basic merchanting/skill ideas.
#1
Choc Dust/Bars Method 1
This first way is really simple. There are a few different places that sell choc dust/bars.
First go to the knome village(place with the first agility course). Go inside the big Tree where the king is. Go up to the floor with the new mini game(floor #2).
If you go by where the bank is you will find a guy selling stuuf for the minigame. I believe the choc is 14gp each.
They have dust and bars. What i do is buy all, close out of the store window, then right click on the guy and go to the store part again. There will now be 3 choc bars and dust in stock.
The bank is less than 15 seconds away.
I did this and got 5k choc (dust and bars) in 4 hours.
One of the best choc methods.
Choc dust sells for about 350 each so not bad at all.
Method #2
Another choc bar place is in Nardah (in the desert) make sure you have desert clothes and atleast 2k. They sell choc bars here for 14 gp each. There is a bank very close too. For this method you have to keep changing worlds (thats why I would stick with method #1
#2
Flax
You need 10 crafting
Im not sure if you would call this merchanting or a skilling. First go to Seers any world. Go to the flax field and pick 28 flax. Now go to the little house with the ladder to the west (follow the crowd if you are not sure where this is). Go up the ladder and over to the spinwheel. Go ahead and and spin the 28 flax. Now you have 18 bow string or bs. go ahead and bank this.
Keep doing this untill you have 1k bs. At this point you can go on the forums or stand in seers bank and sell the 1k bs for 150-190 each.
Chapter #1 Continued
Methed 3 for choc bars(ran out of room on last post)
I got this idea from page 12
"you can also do recipe for disaster and you can buy cholate bars for cheap from the cuilmacers chest (the more of the quest you do more bars it stock) and the bank is in the same spot! cuz theres a bank in the cuilmancers chest! YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE MOVE but one bad thing you have 2 grind the bars"
#3 Cow Hides
You can buy them in any non-member world in the Al Kharid bank. Buy them for about 100 gp each.
if you dont have the cash feel free to just kill the cows right to the east of Lumbridge. After you think you have enough cow hides you can sell them in the forums or a busy world for a higher price.(im sorry im not sure what a good price is to sell, but my friend told me about this method)
Let me know if you know a good price to sell at.
#4 Chaos Druids
The reason im mentioning chaos druids is unids. They drop unids(un identified herb) almost every kill not to mention they are very weak.
They are located in Edgeville Doungeon if you follow the path. WARNING FOR LOW LEVELS!!! DO NOT TRAVEL/EXPLORE PAST THE DRUIDS OR YOU WILL PROBABLY DIE FOR THERE ARE MANY LEVEL 100 DEMONS.
After you have even 100 unids(i recomend getting 100+) you can sell for 1k each to end up with a even 100k.
Chapter 2: A Little Better
If i were you i would continue the unid methed and the choc method to get to 500k
#1 Bronze Arrows
For this you need some cash (like the 100k you just earned)
Go to varrok If you are a member then log in a members world. Go to the arrows shop and buy all of the bronze arrows in stock. If you are lucky there will be a little over 1000. After the store is sold out, log out, and pick another world. With 100k you can get about 16,000 arrows. Go ahead and get on the forums or a busy world and sell. You can get up to 20 gp each from these.
16,000 x 20 = 320,000 or 320k
In about 5 hours I can get 30k arrows which is a very good profit.
#2 Snape grass
Snape grass is located on the shore by the crafting guild. in keeps respawning there. Fill up your inventory then go bank it in Fally. Repeat.
Some people say you can sell snape grass for 500 each. Not true. You will be lucky to get 250(or more) each for them.
Note: i have had 3 people proove me wrong about the price. They all claim that they have sold snape grass for a higher price.
Note: I got bored after the first 5 minuts and do not recomend this one.
Chapter #3: Getting closer
#1 Runes
You can go to any rune shop but i prefer the one in the wild(lvl 55 wild). This is the mage arena shop. They usually have 200+ nats and laws in stock. The only problem is getting there. Sometimes there is a person at the tele spot waiting to kill you. Go in un-crowded worlds and bring an axe or weapon to cut through the spider web. After you get in there is a bank
Note: You are safe in the store
You can also buy chaos and death
Get out all of your cash and buy all the nats or laws. Its usually a good idea to not buy both but to pick one of the 2. Laws can sell for 300-350 each and nats are 320+. Sell the runes on the forums.
This is a good profit.
#2 Full Rune
If you are lucky you can find a seller of full rune for 180k. The go back and sell it for 210k or so. Sell it on the forums or in world 1 or 2.
Its not the best way but it works
Chapter #4: Mills also known as Cha-Ching
#1 Unids
Like in chapter 1 we are using unids. The only difference is that before you were killing for them. Now you will be buying them. Buy as many unids as you can on the forums. Make sure its 11 stacks. Buy them all for 1k each. After you have bought all of the unids go back and make a post called Selling unids 1.2k each. If you had 500k and spent them all on unids you will have 500 unids. When you go back and sell these for 1.2-1.3k each you will end up with 600k. Thats a good profit. Then repeat. Each time you will have more money which means more unids and then with selling means even more cash.
#2 Super Sets
You can buy super sets on the forums for 8k each. Get about 100 (costs 800k) and then go to world 18. You can sell them there for about 10k each. This is roughly 1 million gold.
#3 Range pots
buy them for 3k each on the forums and sell them for 4k each.
Chapter 5: Multi Millions
#1 Whips
I have been told (on page 4) that you can merchant whips by buying them for 1.8 mill and lower and selling them for 2 mill or higher.
#2 Unids
If I were you i would continue to do unids for the more money have the more money you will make.
#3 Yews
Note: Fill me in on the current price This one may not work if the price has changed to much.
last time i checked you could go to world 1 varrok and buy yews for 220 each. Then you can go and sell them on the forums for 230+ each. This may not seem like a lot of cash but think about this:
5 mill divided by 220 is around 22k yews.
If you then go and sell them for 230 each you will have 5.2 mill
You can do this methed very fast so you will be making mills in no time.
#4 Sharks
I would buy them in world 18 for 900 each and sell them on forums or in the same place for 1k each. 100 gp profit so its not bad.
Rares
Im not very good in rares but have heard ythey are a great way to make money if you can afford them
The best time to buy a rare is around the holiday it was made on (like santa you would buy around christmas)and then you sell it when the price goes back up
Blue masks
you can buy them for 33.6 mill and sell them for 34-34.2 mill
pretty good profit.
New Quests/Skills
For me this means cash
whenever there is a new skill or quest i get busy.
for example. when construction came out i made and easy 1 mill a day for the first week. I would buy limestone from the store for like 20 each and sell it on forums for up to 2k each.
lol i cant wait for hunting(the next new skill)
Runescape: Market - Buying/Selling
Knowing how and when to market an item is important. Read this guide if you like to make money without having to lvl up a trade skill or chance loosing ur armor when you go out to PK someone.
Glossary
1. Rune Ess
2. Big Bones
3. Store Trading
Ok first tip. Know what you want to buy/sell and how much its worth. Here are some things that are very usefull and easy to buy/sell and help boost a new players money reserves.
1. Rune Ess - These can only be mined once you have completed the rune mysteries quest. Once completing the quest you will be able to teleport to the Ess world from either the wizzard tower, varrock south of east bank or somewhere in fally I don't know where that is. Rune Ess can be mined at lvl1 and dont take very long. A dedicated person can mine over 2k per half our but this is incredibally boring so try and do like 500 a day and then do whatever u like.
Rune Ess sell anywhere from 10-50gp ea. This may not seem like much but when you have mined 1,000 rune ess and you find somone willing to buy for 50ea then thats 50k withought lvling up any skill but mining. ( Rune Ess do not lvl up ur mining much so if you are focused on getting mining exp do it on other ores. ) This does take some time and the rewards are pretty nice if you do it alot and any player can do this lvl 3 - whatever lvl u are.
2. Big Bones - Big bones are usually aquired at the cave east of barb village from the lvl 28 hill giants dwelling there. A Key is required to get in the door to the entrance of the cave and can be aquired by killing someone with it, finding someone who dropped one, or buying one from another player. Sometimes the general store will have it but only idiots will sell a key for a low price when new players want them. If you wish to find the key yourself go to the ladder by the yew trees in edgville and walk until just before the hill giants section and their is a room that diverts off to the east. The key is there and is respawning so you can get it mutiple times and hand them out to friends. ( or noobs and watch them die and take their stuff lol ) Big bones can be sold from about 150ea to 350-400ea. So as you can see it is very nice if you are any good at killing a lvl 28 hill giant. *P.S. Bring some food this things hit hard. You may also find some nice items being dropped. Yesterday i got an uncut dimond, but mostely they will drop iron items and limpwort roots. ( used in str pots )
3. Store Trading( example ) Arrows. One thing that is reletively fast is looking in Lowes archery store ( or any other store for that matter ) and finding a type of arrow that is low. I.E. Say the store only has 1 addy arrow left and you can sell for like 200 ea to this store. Go to another world that has like 1000 addy arrows and buy for like 80 ea then go sell for a 20 ea profit. This is very hard to do and takes a long time. I only suggest you do it if you are desprate for money.
Ok one last thing. I suggest that you keep a reserve of money. Like 10k or something that you set that you will never use unless you are out of money and want to make more again. Example. You are pked and lose everything you have. Go to bank and withdraw the 10k you kept and buy ess 20 ea. Go to world 1 and sell for as high as you can ( 40-50 ea ) and repeat the process until you have as much money that you need and keep a reserve again.
Runescape: Wood Cutting Guide
Normal Logs - Wood Cutting Level Needed: 1 - 25 Experience Each
Well, at first, you might be wondering where to get a acceptable wood cutting axe at. Since you start off in lumbridge, there is a Axe Shop just south east of the castle. You should see an axe on the minimap over a house. This is where the shop is. Talk to bob and get your first axe. If you do not have enough money for a good one, try killing some goblins. You should get enough to buy one after 10 minutes or so. After you get your axe, just cut normal tree logs around lumbridge. You can make fires with the logs or if you are a member, you can fletch them with a knife.
Oak Logs - Wood Cutting Level Needed: 15 - 37.5 Experience Each
Now that you are starting to level up nicely, you can cut Oak Logs. Right north of the castle in lumbridge, you will see a general store, which should look like a pot of flour. Its not hard to find if you are roaming somewhere north of the castle. Anyways, right behind the general store are a couple oak trees wich is a good place to cut oaks.
Willow Logs - Wood Cutting Level Needed: 30 - 67.5 Experience Each
Willow logs will be really important to you later when you want to do some fast wood cutting experience. The best place to cut these would be in Daynor Village, which is right west of lumbridge. When you find the bank in Daynor, there are tons of Willows by the ocean.
Teak Logs (Members Only) - Wood Cutting Level Needed: 35 - 85 Experience Each
This is a type of logs that is probably the least common in Runescape. I wouldnt recommend cutting it for anything unless you want to. You can find these in Tai Bwo Wannai Villiage
Maple Logs (Members Only) - Wood Cutting Level Needed: 45 - 100 Experience Each
Maple Logs are a good new level for your fletching if you have the required fletching level since maple bows can sell pretty good. If you are bored with willows, then why not try these? The best place for these is in Seers' Village which is just North of East Adrougne.
Hollow Trees (Members Only) - Wood Cutting Level Needed: 45 - 100 Experience Each
These trees are important because mages will need these to make their splitbark armor. It might be fun to try these out. Oh, and by the way, you might want to have at least a Mith Axe by now for better cutting.
Mahogany Logs (Members Only) - Wood Cutting Level Needed: 50 - 125 Experience Each
Theres not really much to say about this kind of log. It just kinda looks like a oak tree.
Yew Logs - Wood Cutting Level Needed: 60 - 175 Experience Each
Ok, here is where you start raking in some good cash. By this time, you will need a Rune Axe. Im sorry, but if you dont, you might want to go find some ways to earn 20k for it. The best place to cut these i would have to say Edgeville, which is just north of Barbarian Village. This is the best it gets without the membership.
Magic Logs (Members Only) - Wood Cutting Level Needed: 75 - 250 Experience Each
Alright, if you are able to cut these, then you have pretty much done well with your wood cutting. Im so proud of you!! You make me shed tears of joy!! . I like to cut these by the Mage Arena just North of the Duel Arena in Al-Karid. When you get full load of these, stop by the duel arena bank if you didn't know that there was a bank there.
Well, that is my guide. I hope it helped you all and good luck in your future of runescape!!!

Runescape: Cut wood and make money
Introduction
So you think woodcutting is useless do you? Well you thought wrong! I made 300k towards my mask set in one day through woodcutting; admittedly it was a long and boring day, but 300k is a lot of money.
This guide will show you how to make money at the various levels of the skill. I will show you how to get to level 15 fastest (this is the level required to start making money from your woodcutting) and from there I will tell you how to gain woodcutting experience and a hefty profit at the same time.
This guide does not contain any methods which will get you fast xp, in fact it’s probably the slowest way of getting xp but it will make you the best profit in my opinion.
Starting Out: levels 1 - 15
First off, grab the best hatchet you can afford/wield and head over to Draynor. Follow the path south from Draynor and on the east side of the path is our target. Many people will argue that Lumbridge swamp is best but here, the trees are nicely laid out and close to a bank if you plan to bank your logs.
Once your reach this area wield you hatchet and start chopping away. Once you have a full inventory you have 3 options; Bank you logs, burn your logs or drop your logs. If you want quick woodcutting Xp then I strongly suggest you bank the logs as the other 2 methods will most likely take more time than running to the bank. The map shows the best route to the bank and remember, sticks to the paths as you travel faster on the paths (apparently).
Small Time Money Maker: Levels 15 – 30
At this stage you can now cut down oak trees. With the introduction of bank notes into Runescape oak logs are now a lot easier to trade.
P2P Location: Go to Seers village and just south of the bank are 2 oak trees with only once space in-between them. This is where you will make your money. Stand between the two oak trees and chop away. Once your inventory is full deposit the logs and start the cycle again.
F2P Location: Head to Falador east bank and withdraw your hatchet and nothing else. Head out the bank and south down the path. Once you get out the gates head south-west and you should find 2 oak trees relatively close to each other. I haven’t ever seen these crowded so you should do quite well from chopping these trees.
You should be able to bank 350 logs in an hour if you really concentrate. Once you have a good number of logs withdraw them as bank notes and sell them to fletchers/fire makers. These two kinds of people will pay for the experience they can gain from your logs!
Selling price: 50 – 100gp per log
Profit maker: levels 30 - 45
Congratulations as now you can start making a decent profit as oak was getting slow wasn’t it? Your target? Willow trees!
P2P Location: North and slightly west of Seers village bank is 3 willow trees in a triangle formation. This is where you are going to be working for the next few hours. Chop them in any order you like as it won’t make any difference. There are 2 more willow trees directly south of the bank if there is a lot of competition for the triangle. Keep chopping one tree until it is exhausted before you move on to the next tree and this way you will cut logs faster.
F2P Location: Head to Draynor bank and go west out of the doors and then straight down south. Just south of the bank are 4 (yes 4!) willow trees. These can be crowded at times but is still the best spot for F2P willow cutting! ** Sadly you F2Pers will have to stick to willow cutting until level 60 as you cannot cut maple trees.
Same routine as before just chop until your inventory is full and then bank and repeat. You should be able to bank 300 logs per hour or 250 if you’re slack! As your level gets closer to the 45 mark you will find that will be able to cut more and more logs per hour and therefore a faster profit. There are 2 more willow trees directly south of the bank if there is a lot of competition for the triangle. Keep chopping one tree until it is exhausted before you move on to the next tree and this way you will cut logs faster. Stay with willow until you reach level 45 or 60 if you are F2P.
Selling price: 100 – 200gp per log
Getting Serious: 45 – 60
With a woodcut level of 45+ all you need is dedication and you can make some decent money. The demand for maple logs is reasonable and the prices are good. The trouble with maple trees is that there isn’t a nice triangle of anything like that. Maple trees are dotted about Seer’s village. The one I would recommend using is on the north side of the bank as it is the closest to the bank. Same routine as before, chop a full inventory and then bank the lot and repeat. At this level it will be getting slow but the profit per hour of maple trees will still be higher than the rest. You should be banking 250 logs per hour if you’re going at a comfortable rate. You cannot afford to be fighting for a tree at this stage as maple trees are too sparse. If a spot is taken, move to a different location or a different world as it will be much faster in the long run. Keep at it as the next stage provides some awesome profit!
Selling price: 200 – 300gp per log
Rich now aren’t ya’: levels 60 – 75
At this level the cash will start flowing in. Yew trees are your new target and you will be happy to know that these trees are both P2P and F2P.
P2P Location: There is a slightly different location I want you to head to this time. Go west from the bank along the path and you should notice a church, well in its graveyard are several yew trees. These trees are barely ever too crowded so you should be able to work with out much disturbance. Cut 28 logs and then bank them by using the path to the bank. Try to run all the time for this route as we don’t want to waste any time unnecessarily.
F2P Location: Head over to Edgeville bank and head west out of the entrance and then south to a small garden. Inside this garden are 2 yew trees. There are many yew trees dotted about F2P but these are the two closest to a bank and therefore more convenient to you!
This is the best level to make a profit from due to yew logs being in high demand from fletchers. You may be able to cut 200 logs per hour at the graveyard/garden but don’t worry that’s still a profit of 100 – 150k per hour!
Selling price: 500 – 750gp per log
Rolling in it: levels 75+
So you’ve done it… your now an elite woodcutter and can make a huge profit from your skills! Magic logs can be annoying to shift though. The reason for this is that few people have a fletching level which is high enough to fletch magic bows so there is less demand but the fact that you can fetch up to 10x more per magic log should make up for that!. If you want to make money via magic logs then head to the Gnome Tree Stronghold. Head through the main entrance and on the west side of the path should be a magic tree located next to the bank ladder (how convenient!). Simply chop the tree and then go up the ladder to the gnome bank, bank your logs and start over. You should be cutting 100 – 150 logs per hour at the 75 mark.
Selling price: 5,000gp per log

The Trees
Tips
Never wear any fancy clothes or items then will increase your weight once you cut maple trees or higher. Due to the trees being further from a bank you will need to conserve all the energy you can! Also if your P2P and have completed the temple of Ikov quest then always wear your boots of lightfootedness for that extra long lasting feeling!
If a random event occurs then don’t carry on woodcutting! If it’s a spirit then run away, a swarm then run, you axe head fell off then find it and reattach and if it’s a tangle vine then for heavens sake don’t move!
Always sell your logs in notes. It’s far more convenient for both you and the buyer
The best places to sell your logs are on the most crowded serves at either Seers bank or Falador eastern bank.
